Abstract

Pemeriksaan ban cadangan merupakan bagian penting dalam pelaksanaan
Rampcheck guna memastikan keselamatan operasional bus. Namun, di Terminal
Lumpue Parepare, proses ini mengalami berbagai kendala khususnya dalam
pemeriksaan ban cadangan, seperti keterbatasan akses ke kolong kendaraan, kondisi
lapangan yang berlumpur atau kurang cahaya, serta risiko keselamatan petugas.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan alat bantu berbasis kamera
endoskopi yang dirancang untuk mempermudah pemeriksaan awal ban cadangan
tanpa perlu masuk ke bawah kendaraan secara langsung. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development,
Implementation, Evaluation), dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi,
dokumentasi, eksperimen, dan kuesioner kepada petugas Rampcheck. Alat
dirancang menggunakan kamera endoskopi beresolusi 720p yang terintegrasi
dengan Smartphone, dilengkapi rangka tongkat stainless steel yang dapat
disesuaikan panjangnya. Output dari penelitian ini adalah alat bantu yang berhasil
diimplementasikan dan menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas pemeriksaan. Hasil
kuesioner dari 7 responden menunjukkan sangat setuju bahwa alat memudahkan
pemeriksaan, serta hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menyatakan bahwa seluruh
indikator instrumen adalah valid dan reliabel. Kesimpulannya, alat bantu kamera
ini terbukti efektif dan aman dalam membantu pemeriksaan ban cadangan mobil
bus, serta mampu mengatasi kendala teknis dan lingkungan saat pelaksanaan
Rampcheck di Terminal Lumpue.

Uncontrolled Keywords: Spare tire inspection is an important part of ramp checks to ensure bus operational safety. However, at Lumpue Terminal in Parepare, this process faces various challenges, such as limited access to the underside of vehicles, muddy or poorly lit conditions, and safety risks for staff. This study aims to implement a camera-based endoscopic tool designed to simplify the initial inspection of spare tires without requiring direct access to the underside of the vehicle. The research method used is the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, experimentation, and questionnaires administered to Rampcheck personnel. The tool is designed using a 720p resolution endoscopic camera integrated with a Smartphone, equipped with an adjustable-length aluminum pipe frame. The output of this research is a successfully implemented tool that demonstrates improved effectiveness in inspections. Questionnaire results from 7 respondents indicated strong agreement that the tool facilitates inspections, and validity and reliability test results confirmed that all instrument indicators are valid and reliable. In conclusion, this camera-based tool has proven to be effective, and safe in assisting with the inspection of bus spare tires, and is capable of addressing technical and environmental challenges during Rampcheck implementation at Lumpue Terminal.
