Abstract

Proses kalibrasi speedometer tester saat ini masih menggunakan tachometer
yang dioperasikan secara manual. Hal tersebut cenderung berpotensi mengalami
risiko kecelakaan kerja karena posisi petugas kalibrasi yang berada dekat dengan
roller, selain itu perlunya konversi manual dari hasil pengukuran dari satuan RPM
ke km/jam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan alat
kalibrasi speedometer tester berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 yang dapat mengubah
hasil pengukuran secara otomatis dari RPM ke km/jam, serta menampilkan hasil
pengukuran di layar LCD alat dan aplikasi Blynk yang dapat diakses di ponsel
petugas kalibrasi.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development
(R&D) yang memiliki tujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan suatu produk baru dan
melakukan uji coba alat tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui
observasi dengan membandingan alat tachometer yang sudah ada dengan alat
kalibrasi speedometer tester yang dirancang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
alat kalibrasi yang dirancang mampu berfungsi dengan baik, dengan tingkat akurasi
sebesar 89,59% dan error sebesar 10,41%. Oleh karena itu, alat ini berpotensi
digunakan sebagai alternatif penunjang proses kalibrasi dengan tetap diperlukan
penyempurnaan lanjutan, khususnya dalam mengurangi fluktuasi hasil pengukuran
dan meningkatkan akurasi hasil.

Uncontrolled Keywords: The current speedometer tester calibration process still uses a manually operated tachometer. This tends to have the potential for work accident risks because the position of the calibration officer is close to the roller, in addition to the need for manual conversion of measurement results from RPM to km / h. This study aims to design and develop a speedometer tester calibration tool based on the ESP32 microcontroller that can automatically convert measurement results from RPM to km / h, and display measurement results on the LCD screen of the tool and the Blynk application that can be accessed on the calibration officer's cellphone. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) which aims to be able to produce a new product and test the tool. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation by comparing existing tachometer tools with the designed speedometer tester calibration tool. The results of the study showed that the designed calibration tool was able to function properly, with an accuracy level of 89.59% and an error of 10.41%. Therefore, this tool has the potential to be used as an alternative to support the calibration process while still requiring further improvements, especially in reducing fluctuations in measurement results and increasing the accuracy of the results.
