Abstract

Evaluation of the performance of cement truck drivers regarding the
distribution lead time for cement deliveries at PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik focuses
on logistics, transportation, trading of building materials, industrial goods and
mining materials. The main objective of this research is to identify types of delivery
delays and their causal factors, as well as design improvement strategies to
minimize delays in cement delivery. The method used in this research is Six Sigma
which aims to measure and improve the quality of the delivery process. The
evaluation results found that the main factors causing delivery delays were
mismatches in departure schedules, traffic conditions and technical problems with
the fleet. Based on the analysis carried out, several improvement strategies are
proposed, including increasing coordination between operational teams and the
fleet maintenance team on a regular basis. The application of the Six Sigma method
enabled the order execution team to experience significant improvements in cement
delivery lead times, which had a positive impact on customer satisfaction and the
company's operational efficiency.

Hasil evaluasi yang ditemukan bahwa faktor utama penyebab keterlambatan pengiriman adalah ketidaksesuaian jadwal keberangkatan, kondisi lalu lintas, dan kendala teknis pada armada. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, beberapa strategi perbaikan diusulkan antara lain peningkatan koordinasi antar tim operasional, dengan tim pemeliharaan armada secara berkala. Penerapan metode Six Sigma memasukan tim order execution adanya perbaikan signifikan dalam lead time pengiriman semen, yang berdampak positif pada kepuasan pelanggan dan efisiensi operasional perusahaan.
