Abstract
Overcoming problems such as congestion, which is a problem that particularly affects urban areas, can also be overcome by taking a spatial-based approach in planning the development of transportation infrastructure. Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani is a road that enters the urban area in Bandung. It has a fairly high intensity of traffic activity because it is one of the access points for people to get to the city center. Apart from that, several things that were found to be the cause of the decline in performance on this road section were the conversion of road space by the activities of street vendors, the condition of pedestrian facilities that were poorly maintained, and the lack of supporting facilities for road space. This research aims to understand the existing conditions and problems so that recommendations can be provided regarding the spatial planning of the Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani under the needs of stakeholders. This research uses the PKJI approach method in analyzing road performance and the Sustainable Streetscape concept in considering recommendations for road space planning. Sustainable Streetscape is a combination of indicators that creates an attractive visual appearance in a street space(Ramadhan et al., 2018).This research produced several recommendations for structuring transportation infrastructure in the form of pedestrian facilities, green lanes, and the placement of signs as one of the supporting elements of the Sustainable Streetscape Concept. Judging from the pedestrian path, there is a width arrangement that is adjusted to the minimum calculation requirements of 1.85 on both sides of the road so that there is an allocation of land as a green lane and a building zone of 0.95 meters from the total land, additional crossing facilities in the form of a pelican crossing.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Mengatasi permasalahan seperti kemacetan, yang mana merupakan sebuah permasalahan yang khususnya menimpa wilayah-wilayah perkotaan, juga dapat diatasi dengan melakukan pendekatan berbasis spasial dalam merencanakan pengembangan infrastruktur transportasi. Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani merupakan jalan yang masuk kedalam daerah perkotaan di Kota Bandung, memiliki intensitas kegiatan lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi sebab menjadi salah satu pintu masuk bagi masyarakat menuju pusat kota. Selain itu, beberapa hal yang ditemukan sebagai penyebab terjadinya penurunan kinerja pada ruas jalan ini adalah alih fungsi ruang jalan oleh kegiatan pedagang kaki lima, kondisi fasilitas pejalan kaki yang kurang terawat, hingga kurangnya fasilitas pendukung ruang jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kondisi eksisting dan permasalahan yang ada sehingga dapat diberikan rekomendasi dalam hal penataan ruang ruas jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan PKJI dalam melakukan analisis terhadap kinerja ruas jalan dan konsep Sustainable Streetscape dalam memberikan pertimbangan rekomendasi penataan ruang ruas jalan. Sustainable Streetscape merupakan perpaduan indikator yang menciptakan penampakan visual yang menarik pada suatu ruang ruas jalan (Ramadhan et al., 2018). Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa rekomendasi penataan infrastruktur transportasi berupa fasilitas pejalan kaki, jalur hijau dan penempaatan rambu sebagai salah satu elemen pendukung Konsep Sustainable Sreetscape. Dilihat dari jalur pejalan kaki terdapat penataan lebar yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan hasil perhitungan minimal sebesar 1.85 dikedua sisi ruas jalan sehingga terdapat pengalokasian lahan sebagai jalur hijau dan zona bagian bangunan sebesar 0.95 meter dari lahan total, penambahan fasilitas penyeberangan berupa pelican crossing.
