Abstract

Wirobrajan intersection is one of the intersections located in Yogyakarta City and is the main access from Yogyakarta City to Bantul Regency. Based on a study conducted by the Yogyakarta City PKL Team in 2024, it was found that the degree of saturation at one of the approaches reached 1.02, the queue length was 267 meters, and the average delay reached 148.03 seconds/pcu. Based on this, arrangements need to be made to improve traffic performance at the Wirobrajan Intersection, both in terms of intersection performance and proposed road equipment facilities.
The method used in this research is PKJI 2023 and Vissim for traffic performance analysis. Meanwhile, analysis of road equipment is carried out by means of a visual survey and then checking the availability of road equipment at the intersection by referring to the Road Equipment Facility Placement Guide. Methods for volume analysis forecasting use Compounding Factor.
The results of the analysis in this research show that the existing performance of the Wirobrajan Interchange is still not optimal plan certain because the degree of saturation is more than 0.85. Performance improvement after selection was carried out, it was found that the best proposal was to set a new cycle time and increase the effective width of the approach. Road equipment facilities have also been added in accordance with regulations so that it is hoped that they can increase comfort for motorists.

Uncontrolled Keywords: Simpang Wirobrajan ialah salah satu simpang yang terletak di Kota Yogyakarta sekaligus menjadi akses utama dari Kota Yogyakarta menuju Kabupaten Bantul. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan oleh Tim PKL Kota Yogyakarta tahun 2024, didapatkan derajat kejenuhan pada salah satu pendekatnya mencapai 1,02, panjang antrian 267 meter, dan tundaan rata-rata mencapai 148,03 detik/smp. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan penataan untuk meningkatkan kinerja lalu lintas di Simpang Wirobrajan baik dari kinerja simpang maupun usulan fasilitas perlengkapan jalan. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan PKJI 2023 dan Vissim untuk analisis kinerja lalu lintas. Sementara itu, untuk analisis perlengkapan jalan dilakukan dengan survei secara visual lalu dicocokkan ketersediaan perlengkapan jalan pada simpang dengan mengacu pada Panduan Penempatan Fasilitas Perlengkapan Jalan. Metode untuk analisis volume forecasting menggunakan Compounding Factor. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini diperoleh kinerja eksisting Simpang Wirobrajan masih belum optimal pada plan tertentu karena derajat kejenuhannya lebih dari 0,85. Perbaikan kinerja setelah dilakukan seleksi didapatkan bahwa usulan terbaik adalah dengan penataan waktu siklus baru serta menambahkan lebar efektif pendekat. Fasilitas perlengkapan jalan juga ditambahkan sesuai dengan ketentuan sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan bagi pengendara.
