Abstract

Simpang 4 SGM is one of the intersections that has a high volume because it is an access point to the city area that brings together the traffic flow from the Jalan Kenari section, the Veteran Street section, and the Jalan Kusumanegara section with the longest queue length of 145 meters. Research The data used is data on intersection geometry, traffic flow for 24 hours on weekdays and intersection cycle time. This research aims to realize optimal performance of Simpang SGM by conducting engineering design using PKJI 2023.
The results of the study found that the existing performance in each plan has not been optimal because the degree of saturation exceeds 0.85 so it needs to be optimized. The results after optimization with PKJI 2023 were obtained that improvements were needed that could be made by resetting the cycle time and the green time was completely lost so as to get a new plan planning . The increase in performance is evident from the decrease in queue length and delays.

Penelitian Data yang digunakan adalah data geometri simpang, arus lalu lintas selama 24 jam pada hari kerja dan waktu siklus simpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja Simpang SGM dengan melakukan desain rekayasa. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah PKJI 2023. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa kinerja eksisting pada setiap plan memiliki kinerja yang belum optimal karena derajat kejenuhan yang melebihi 0,85 sehingga perlu dilakukan optimalisasi. Adapun hasil setelah optimalisasi dengan PKJI 2023 didapatkan bahwa diperlukan peningkatan yang dapat dilakukan dengan cara pengaturan ulang waktu siklus dan waktu hijau hilang total sehingga mendapatkan perencanaan plan baru. Peningkatan kinerja terbukti dari menurunnya panjang antrian dan tundaan. Kata kunci : PKJI 2023, Panjang antrian, Tundaan, Optimalisasi
