Abstract

Ring Road Yogyakarta Regional is a vital transportation route for large vehicles that connect the city and the surrounding area. On the other hand, the narrow road conditions in the city of Yogyakarta make it difficult for large vehicles to directly distribute goods into the city. Therefore, loading and unloading activities are often carried out on the side of the road because they are not accompanied by freight transportation nodes. This shows the need for the location of freight terminals to overcome on-street parking and improve traffic efficiency. Primary data is obtained from the results of questionnaires to regulators or related agencies.
Data analysis uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which is a decision-making method with paired comparisons to determine the best location for the construction of freight transportation terminals that combines several criteria such as road performance, accessibility, regional transportation patterns and investment costs. The results of the study show that the best location for the location of the freight transportation terminal is alternative location 2 located on Jl. Prof. Dr. Wirjono Projodikoro with a weight of 50% with the highest criterion, namely accessibility, followed by Jl. Ahmad Yani with a weight of 33% and Jl. Brawijaya with a weight of 17%. The proposed location of the freight transportation terminal is expected to be able to arrange the movement pattern of freight transportation, including loading and unloading activities, as well as provide a place to rest and park vehicles.

Disisi lain, kondisi jalan yang sempit di dalam Kota Yogyakarta membuat sulit bagi kendaraan besar untuk langsung mendistribusikan barang ke dalam kota tersebut. Oleh sebabnya, kegiatan bongkar muat seringkali dijalankan di pinggir jalan sebab tidak disertai dengan adanya simpul transportasi angkutan barang. Hal itu memperlihatkan perlunya lokasi terminal angkutan barang untuk mengatasi parkir on street dan meningkatkan efisiensi lalu lintas. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner kepada regulator atau instansi terkait. Analisis data menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yaitu metode pengambilan keputusan dengan perbandingan berpasangan untuk menentukan lokasi terbaik pembangunan terminal angkutan barang yang menggabungkan beberapa kriteria seperti kinerja ruas jalan, aksesibilitas, pola angkutan regional dan biaya investasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan lokasi terbaik untuk titik lokasi terminal angkutan barang adalah lokasi alternatif 2 yang terletak di Jl. Prof. Dr. Wirjono Projodikoro dengan bobot 50% dengan kriteria tertinggi yakni aksesibilitas, diikuti Jl. Ahmad Yani dengan bobot 33% dan Jl. Brawijaya dengan bobot 17%. Adanya usulan lokasi terminal angkutan barang diharapkan dapat menata pola pergerakan angkutan barang, termasuk aktivitas bongkar muat, serta menyediakan tempat istirahat dan parkir kendaraan.
