Abstract

Simpang Empat Sultan Alauddin is an intersection located on the border of Gowa Regency - Makassar City. Based on the analysis of the Makassar City PKL Team, Simpang Empat Sultan Alauddin has less than optimal performance with a degree of saturation reaching 0.93, a queue length of 200 m and a delay of 73 sec/pcu. This is influenced by the presence of contraflow in the south direction. The aim of this research is to optimize intersection performance by resetting cycle times and seeing the effect contraflow, the PKJI 2023 method is only used to determine the optimum cycle time, then the Vissim application is used to model existing conditions and proposed scenarios as well as finding queue lengths and delays at intersections. The results of this research obtained 4 schedule plans: plan 1 (06.00-09.15), plan 2(09.15-15.45), plan 3(15.45-20.00), plan 4(04.00-06.00) - (20.00-04.00). The optimization results obtained through analysis using the Vissim application are at plan 1 The best performance improvements are made by setting cycle times as well as implementing contraflow with a reduction in queue length of 10% and delays of 4%, then on plan 2,3 and 4 The best performance improvements are made by setting reset cycle times as well as eliminating contraflow from the south, this is proven by a decrease in queue length and the average delay at intersections on plan 2, a decrease in queue length by 59% and delays by 49% plan 3 reduction in queue length by 8% and delays by 5% and on plan 4 reduction in queue length by 17% and delays by 12%,

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan optimalisasi kinerja simpang dengan melakukan pengaturan ulang waktu siklus dan melihat pengaruh contraflow, metode PKJI 2023 hanya digunakan untuk menentukan waktu siklus optimum kemudian aplikasi Vissim digunakan untuk pemodelan kondisi eksisting maupun usulan skenario serta mencari panjang antrian dan tundaan pada simpang. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan 4 schedule plan yaitu plan 1 (06.00-09.15),plan 2(09.15-15.45), plan 3(15.45-20.00), plan 4(04.00-06.00)-(20.00-04.00). Hasil optimalisasi yang didapatkan melalui analisis menggunakan aplikasi Vissim yaitu pada plan 1 peningkatan kinerja terbaik dilakukan dengan pengaturan waktu siklus serta menerapkan contraflow dengan penurunan panjang antrian sebesar 10% dan tundaan 4%, kemudian pada plan 2,3 dan 4 peningkatan kinerja terbaik dilakukan dengan pengaturan waktu siklus ulang serta menghilangkan contraflow dari arah selatan hal ini dibuktikan melalui penurunan panjang antrian serta tundaan rata-rata simpang pada plan 2 penurunan panjang antrian sebesar 59% dan tundaan sebesar 49% plan 3 penuruanan panjang antrian sebesar 8% dan tundaan sebesar 5% dan pada plan 4 penurunan panjang antrian sebesar 17% dan tundaan sebesar 12%, Kata Kunci : Optimalisasi, Vissim, Contraflow, Panjang Antrian, Tundaan
