OPTIMALISASI FASILITAS TRANSIT PENUMPANG ANGKUTAN ANTAR KOTA DALAM PROVINSI PADA TERMINAL TIPE A CICAHEUM

This study aims to optimize services at Cicaheum Terminal in Bandung City, which serves as the main terminal for intercity and interprovincial public transportation (AKAP) and intercity transportation within the province (AKDP). The terminal faces several issues, such as a lack of passenger transit facilities and unclear arrival routes, especially for small AKDP buses, leading to confusion for passengers wishing to board these buses. Additionally, many AKDP drivers choose to wait for passengers outside the terminal, potentially causing traffic congestion on Sindanglaya highway. The research methodology includes analyzing the existing conditions of the terminal, planning the necessary transit facilities, and designing a better terminal layout. This study also evaluates the impact of reorganization on the performance of the surrounding road network using the degree of saturation parameter.
