Abstract
Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) memiliki posisi strategis sebagai jalur lintas
angkutan barang antar pulau, namun belum memiliki fasilitas terminal angkutan
barang yang memadai. Hal ini menyebabkan kendaraan angkutan barang sering
berhenti di bahu jalan untuk bongkar muat, yang berdampak pada kemacetan dan
penurunan keselamatan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis
potensi pembangunan terminal angkutan barang di NTB dan menentukan lokasi
yang paling optimal berdasarkan beberapa kriteria. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah Analisis Hirarki Proses (AHP) untuk menentukan bobot
prioritas kriteria dan alternatif lokasi dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Expert
Choice, serta pemetaan isokron menggunakan perangkat lunak Sistem Informasi
Geografis Kuantum (QGIS) untuk menilai aksesibilitas dan topografi wilayah.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NTB memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk
pembangunan terminal barang, khususnya pada wilayah yang dekat dengan
pelabuhan, kawasan industri, dan simpul transportasi utama. Berdasarkan
perhitungan kombinasi yang telah dilakukan lokasi terminal angkutan barang di
Nusa Tenggara Barat diperoleh pada Alternatif pertama yaitu Kabupaten Lombok
Barat.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province has a strategic position as a route for inter- island freight transportation, but does not yet have adequate freight terminal facilities. This causes freight vehicles to often stop on the shoulder of the road for loading and unloading, which has an impact on congestion and reduced traffic safety. This study aims to analyze the potential for building a freight terminal in NTB and determine the most optimal location based on several criteria. The method used in this study is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the priority weight of criteria and alternative locations with the help of Expert Choice software, as well as isochron mapping using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) software to assess accessibility and topography of the area. The results of the study indicate that NTB has high potential for the development of freight terminals, especially in areas close to ports, industrial areas, and major transportation hubs. Based on the combination calculations that have been carried out, the location of the freight terminal in West Nusa Tenggara was obtained in the first alternative, namely West Lombok Regency.
