Abstract

PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada
bidang otomotif di Pulau Bali dan terbagi atas 3 divisi yakni Selling, Service dan
Spare Part yang memerlukan gudang sebagai tempat penyimpanan suku cadang.
Adapun permasalahan pada gudang suku cadang perusahaan saat ini masih belum
memiliki tata letak secara tetap. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan usulan tata
letak gudang dan jarak tempuh yang lebih efisien dengan membandingkan kondisi
saat ini dan 2 metode yakni Dedicated Storage dan Class-Based Storage. Pada
metode Dedicated Storage penentuan peletakan barang berdasarkan total in/out
barang, sedangkan pada metode Class-Based Storage penentuan peletakan barang
berdasarkan frekuensi keluar masuknya barang pada gudang dengan FSN Analysis
(Fast, Slow, Non-Moving). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tempuh
saat ini selama 5 bulan sebesar 10.744,9 m. Jarak tempuh material handling dengan
Dedicated Storage sebesar 6.998,4 m dengan penghematan jarak tempuh sebesar
3.746,5 m, sedangkan Class-Based Storage menghasilkan jarak tempuh sebesar
6.749,8 m dengan penurunan 3.995,1 m dari kondisi saat ini.

Uncontrolled Keywords: PT Cahaya Surya Bali Indah is one of the companies engaged in the automotive sector on the island of Bali and is divided into 3 divisions, namely Selling, Service and Spare Parts that require a warehouse as a place to store spare parts. The problem with the company's spare parts warehouse currently does not have a fixed layout. This study aims to provide a proposal for a more efficient warehouse layout and travel distance by comparing current conditions and 2 methods, namely Dedicated Storage and Class-Based Storage. In the Dedicated Storage method, the determination of the placement of goods is based on the total in / out of goods, while in the Class-Based Storage method, the determination of the placement of goods is based on the frequency of goods in and out of the warehouse with FSN Analysis (Fast, Slow, Non-Moving). The results of the study showed that the current travel distance for 5 months was 10,744.9 m. The distance traveled by material handling with Dedicated Storage is 6,998.4 m with a distance reduction of 3,746.5 m, while Class-Based Storage produces a distance traveled of 6,749.8 m with a decrease of 3995.1 m from the current condition.
