Abstract
Gudang Pupuk Lini III Jombang-Jatipelem merupakan salah satu gudang
pendukung tersedianya stock pupuk bersubsidi di wilayah Kabupaten Jombang
Gudang ini menyimpan Pupuk Urea, Phonska, Petroganik, dan Phonska Plus.
Permasalahan yang ditemui di gudang ini adalah pengaturan tata letak gudang yang
masih bersifat random storage, yang mengakibatkan antrian truk ketika melakukan
bongkar muat pupuk pada gudang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tata
letak gudang pupuk Lini III Jombang-Jatipelem dengan menggunakan metode
Class Based Storage untuk mengoptimalkan jarak tempuh perpindahan barang
dalam gudang, sehingga untuk mengurangi antrian truk ketika melakukan bongkar
muat pupuk. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data barang masuk
dan keluar dari gudang selama 90 hari, yaitu dari bulan November 2024 hingga
Februari 2025. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi
secara langsung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Class Based
Storage dapat memangkas total jarak tempuh perpindahan produk menjadi 3.312,9
meter selama 90 hari dengan selisih sebesar 1.182,3 meter dari jarak tempuh layout
awal.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Jombang-Jatipelem Line III Fertilizer Warehouse is one of the supporting warehouses for the availability of subsidized fertilizer stocks in the Jombang Regency area. The problem encountered in this warehouse is the arrangement of the warehouse layout which is still random storage, which results in a queue of trucks when loading and unloading fertilizer in the warehouse. This study aims to analyze the layout of the Jombang-Jatipelem Line III fertilizer warehouse using the Class Based Storage method to optimize the distance of moving goods in the warehouse, so as to reduce the queue of trucks when loading and unloading fertilizers. The data used in this study is data on goods entering and leaving the warehouse for 90 days, namely from November 2024 to February 2025. Data collection was carried out through interviews and direct observation. The results of the analysis show that the application of the Class Based Storage method can cut the total distance of product movement to 3,312.9 meters for 90 days with a difference of 1,182.3 meters from the initial layout mileage .
