Abstract
PT Sioen Indonesia adalah perusahaan garment yang memproduksi military safety
vest untuk kebutuhan ekspor. Perusahaan menghadapi dua permasalahan utama
dalam pengelolaan persediaan bahan baku, yaitu keterlambatan pasokan akibat
gangguan distribusi internasional dan tingginya biaya penyimpanan karena
kelebihan persediaan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini
menerapkan metode Activity Based Classification (ABC) untuk mengidentifikasi
bahan baku prioritas dan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk
menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ABC, diketahui
bahwa Eurpalette Sioen termasuk dalam kategori A, sedangkan Nylon Urethane
Coated DWR masuk kategori B. Setelah penetapan prioritas bahan baku, dilakukan
perhitungan EOQ, safety stock, reorder point, dan Total Inventory Cost (TIC) pada
kedua bahan baku tersebut. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan
metode EOQ pada Eurpalette Sioen dapat menghemat TIC sebesar Rp95.978.420
(39,64%) dan pada Nylon Urethane Coated DWR sebesar Rp96.029.351 (39,67%)
dibandingkan dengan kondisi aktual perusahaan.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | PT Sioen Indonesia is a garment company that produces military safety vests for export needs. The company faces two main problems in managing raw material inventory, namely supply delays due to international distribution disruptions and high storage costs due to excess inventory. To solve these problems, this study applied the Activity Based Classification (ABC) method to identify priority raw materials and the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to determine the optimal number of orders. Based on the results of the ABC analysis, it is known that Eurpalette Sioen is included in category A, while Nylon Urethane Coated DWR is included in category B. After determining the priority of raw materials, EOQ, safety stock, reorder point, and Total Inventory Cost (TIC) calculations are carried out on the two raw materials. The calculation results show that the application of the EOQ method in Eurpalette Sioen can save TIC of IDR 95,978,420 (39.64%) and on Nylon Urethane Coated DWR of IDR 96,029,351 (39.67%) compared to the actual condition of the company.
