Abstract

Perawatan dan pemeliharaan peralatan uji merupakan aspek penting dalam
menjamin kelayakan serta keakuratan hasil pengujian kendaraan bermotor. Di Seksi
Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Boyolali, kegiatan
perawatan dilaksanakan hanya setiap 1 bulan sekali, namun idealnya perawatan
peralatan uji dilaksanakan secara berperiode mencakup harian, mingguan, bulanan
hingga tahunan. Selain itu kegiatan pencatatan dan pelaporan dilakukan
menggunakan media kertas dan belum adanya arsip riwayat kegiatan perawatan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat sistem informasi
monitoring perawatan peralatan uji berbasis aplikasi yang terintegrasi dengan
replika Website SIM PKB di Seksi Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor Dinas
Perhubungan Kabupaten Boyolali. Integrasi ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk kontrol
dan pertanggungjawaban penguji, di mana aplikasi hanya akan memberikan akses
login Website SIM PKB apabila seluruh perawatan alat uji telah dilakukan dan
tercatat dalam aplikasi. Metode pengembangan menggunakan pendekatan Research
and Development (R&D) dengan model Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis
kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Aplikasi
dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript dengan framework
React Native, backend Node.js, dan PostgreSQL sebagai basis data. Hasil pengujian
sistem dan kepuasan dari responden menggunakan Blackbox Testing dan System
Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi sesuai harapan dan
diterima baik oleh pengguna, dengan rata-rata skor SUS yaitu 87. Hasil dari uji coba
aplikasi SIMATRA, aplikasi ini dapat mendukung pencatatan riwayat perawatan
alat uji, pelaporan kerusakan, dan pengelolaan komponen cadangan secara digital,
serta mengoptimalkan kegiatan monitoring pelaksanaan perawatan. Dengan adanya
sistem ini, penguji dapat memanfaatkan sebagai pencatatan perawatan yang
dilakukan dalam periode harian, mingguan dan bulanan serta seluruh kegiatan dapat
terdokumentasi, dan terintegrasi dengan website SIM PKB, sehingga kinerja alat
uji tetap terjaga dalam kondisi optimal dan mendukung efisiensi pelayanan
pengujian kendaraan.

Uncontrolled Keywords: Maintenance and upkeep of motor vehicle inspection equipment are critical aspects in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of inspection results. At the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division of the Department of Transportation in Boyolali Regency, maintenance activities are currently performed only once a month. Ideally, however, maintenance should be conducted on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Furthermore, the current recording and reporting processes are still paper-based, with no archival system for maintenance history. This study aims to design and develop an application-based information system for monitoring the maintenance of motor vehicle inspection equipment, integrated with a replica of the SIM PKB website at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division of the Department of Transportation in Boyolali Regency. This integration serves as a control and accountability mechanism for inspectors, where access to the SIM PKB website is granted only if all equipment maintenance activities have been completed and properly recorded in the application. The development method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The application is developed using JavaScript with the React Native framework, Node.js for the backend, and PostgreSQL as the database. System testing and user satisfaction evaluations were conducted using Blackbox Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS), with results showing that the application functions as expected and is well-received by users, achieving an average SUS score of 87. This application facilitates the digital recording of maintenance history, damage reporting, and spare parts management, thereby optimizing the monitoring of maintenance activities. With this system, inspectors can log maintenance activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. All activities are documented and integrated with the SIM PKB website, ensuring that inspection equipment remains in optimal condition and supports the efficiency of motor vehicle inspection services.
