PENENTUAN RUTE DISTRIBUSI ICE TUBE DI KABUPATEN MALANG

Distribution planning is important to ensure that a good or service can be available at the right location, at the right time, and at the right amount. UD UTY Crystal Ice Tube is a company that is engaged in the food processing industry in the ice tube commodity. This company distributes ice tubes to 29 points using a box car. The main problem of this company is that the selection of distribution routes is still based on driver assumptions so calculations are needed to streamline distribution. This problem is included in the Travel Salesman Problem (TSP). So the purpose of this research is to determine the route and scheduling of ice tube distribution.
The method used in this research is the Cheapest Insertion Heuristic algorithm. The observation survey data that has been obtained is then processed using Google Maps to find the distance between distribution points. The results obtained are in the form of route sorting as follows: UD UTY Crystal Ice Tube – Kelapa Jl. Sumedang – Kanjuruhan – Warung Kartini – Kopini – Warung Gudang Baru – Degan Gendeng – Pocong Pancong – Katering MJ – Boba Cuan – Chocoreto – Dhira – Choco Classic – Mie Horor - Degan Graha Sudirman – Kopi Shinta – Es Oyen Jl Sudiutomo – Degan 17 – Seafood Sinyonya – Niki Cafe - Kios Makanan – Pecel Jalibar - Warung Rejeki – Warung Langgeng – Bakso Anta – Kedai Degan – SRC Anggun – Depo Ngadjum – Kedai Kane – Kelapa Talangagung – UD UTY Crystal Ice Tube. Based on the route set, the delivery time starts at 07.15 WIB and finishes at 10.20 WIB.
