Abstract
Perencanaan lokasi halte merupakan komponen penting dalam mendukung
efektivitas layanan angkutan umum berbasis jalan seperti Bus Buy The Service
(BTS) TransJatim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan titik halte yang
optimal pada koridor Terminal Arjosari-Rampal-Terminal Hamid Rusdi di Kota
Malang, dengan mempertimbangkan potensi permintaan pengguna (demand) dan
ketersediaan lahan. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara spasial menggunakan
perangkat lunak QGIS, melalui pendekatan buffer analysis, overlay analysis, serta
survei lapangan terhadap preferensi masyarakat. Selain itu, dilakukan penilaian
kelayakan teknis pada titik-titik rencana halte menggunakan metode skoring dengan
variabel seperti ketersediaan lahan, aksesibilitas pejalan kaki, keamanan lalu lintas,
dan tata guna lahan yang dinilai oleh expert judges. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
20 titik potensial yang direkomendasikan untuk pembangunan tempat
pemberhentian kendaraan penumpang umum (TPKPU), dengan klasifikasi jenis
halte atau bus stop disesuaikan kondisi eksisting. Penggabungan aspek permintaan
dan teknis diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterjangkauan layanan serta
mendorong minat masyarakat untuk beralih ke transportasi umum.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | The planning of bus stop locations is a critical component in supporting the effectiveness of road-based public transport services such as the Buy The Service (BTS) TransJatim program. This study aims to determine the optimal bus stop locations along the Arjosari-Rampal-Hamid Rusdi corridor in Malang City by considering user demand potential and land availability. The research method employs spatial analysis using QGIS software, involving buffer analysis, overlay analysis, and a field survey to assess public preferences. In addition, a technical feasibility assessment was conducted using a scoring method with variables such as land availability, pedestrian accessibility, traffic safety, and land use, evaluated through expert judgment. The results identified 20 potential locations recommended for stop construction, with the type of facility either a full bus shelter or a simple bus stop adjusted to existing site conditions. The integration of demand and technical aspects is expected to improve service coverage and encourage greater public use of mass transit.
