PENENTUAN TITIK LOKASI TERMINAL BARANG DI KABUPATEN MALANG DENGAN METODE ANALITYCAL HIERARCY PROCESS (AHP)

Determining the location of the goods terminal in Malang Regency is a planning
step for the development of transportation nodes. The number of locations that can
be used as goods terminals is also a reference, and there are no transit locations or temporary stops for goods transportation. The existence of various sectoral conditions in Malang Regency causes the volume of goods transportation to
continue to increase every year. The increase in freight transport reached 9%
annually. The purpose of this study is to obtain parameters and alternative locations for goods terminals in Malang Regency to reduce bulk. This research is descriptive-quantitative in nature, so the results obtained with the data and also the description of the meaning of the data Location determination uses the AHP method
by weighing each criterion and sub-criterion to get the final percentage of selected
locations. The results of this study will later be considered in the selection of alternative locations for goods terminals in Malang Regency. Based on the experimental results that have been carried out, the location for determining the terminal point for goods is obtained in the third alternative, namely Gondanglegi District.
