Abstract

Pemerintah Kota Malang merencanakan pengembangan layanan Bus Rapid
Transit (BRT) dengan skema Buy The Service (BTS) untuk meningkatkan kualitas
angkutan umum. Namun, koridor utama BRT belum sepenuhnya menjangkau
prioritas, sementara rute ditetapkan berdasarkan waktu tempuh tercepat
Rencana operasional
berlangsung pukul 06.00–18.00 WIB, dengan kecepatan rata-rata 30 km/jam,
headway 4 menit, frekuensi 15 perjalanan per jam, dan waktu sirkulasi 6 menit 24
detik.
umum.

Uncontrolled Keywords: The Government of Malang City plans to develop a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system through the Buy The Service (BTS) scheme to enhance the quality of public transportation. However, the main BRT corridor has yet to cover the entire urban area, particularly Klojen District, which features complex land use and serves as a central hub of community activities. To address this limitation, feeder services are required to connect unserved potential areas to the main BRT corridor. This study aims to design a feeder service by considering trip generation and attraction data, as well as spatial factors such as population density, road network, land use, and built-up areas. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is employed to determine priority service areas based on these factors, while route selection is based on the shortest travel time. The results indicate that Zones 1, 2, and 4 are prioritized for feeder services, with a total route length of 3.904 km. The proposed operation is scheduled from 06:00 to 18:00 WIB, with an average speed of 30 km/h, a headway of 4 minutes, a frequency of 15 trips per hour, and a circulation time of 6 minutes and 24 seconds. The service requires 2 units of vehicles and is supported by 13 bus stops to enhance accessibility.
