Abstract
Pertumbuhan aktivitas di kawasan pendidikan Jalan Bandung, Kota Malang,
memunculkan kebutuhan fasilitas pejalan kaki yang aman, nyaman, dan
mendukung pergerakan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi
kondisi eksisting fasilitas pejalan kaki, mengukur tingkat kelayakan suatu ruas jalan
untuk dilalui dengan berjalan kaki berdasarkan persepsi dan penilaian masyarakat,
serta merumuskan desain rekomendasi fasilitas pejalan kaki di kawasan tersebut.
Metode penelitian mencangkup pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan survei
primer dan sekunder untuk mendapatkan data kondisi geometrik, volume lalu lintas,
volume pejalan kaki, kecepatan kendaraan, serta persepsi pengguna melalui
kuesioner terhadap 100 responden.
Penelitian ini menggunakan Pedoman Teknis Fasilitas Pejalan Kaki yang
dikeluarkan Kementerian PUPR dalam menentukan lebar minimal jalur pejalan
kaki dimana lebar minimal yaitu 1,5 meter dengan kondisi eksisting yang sudah
memenuhi. Dalam penentuan kebutuhan fasilitas penyeberangan adalah dengan
menghitung PV2 dengan hasil 1,06 x 1011 sehingga penyeberangan yang
dibutuhkan yaitu JPO. Penelitian Variabel oleh masyarakat digunakan untuk
menilai tingkat kelayakan berjalan di sepanjang Jalan Bandung hasil nilai yang
didapatkan yaitu 52.25 dengan klasifikasi CUKUP BAIK. Oleh karena itu,
diperlukan perencanaan fasilitas pejalan kaki untuk meningkatkan tingkat
kelayakan dilalui dengan berjalan kaki di kawasan tersebut. Hasil desain diharapkan
dapat mendukung mobilitas berkelanjutan dan memberikan masukan bagi
pengelolaan infrastruktur transportasi di kawasan pendidikan Kota Malang.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | The growth of activities in the Jalan Bandung education area, Malang City, has raised the need for pedestrian facilities that are safe, comfortable, and support sustainable movement. This study aims to evaluate the existing condition of pedestrian facilities, measure the feasibility of a road section to be passed on foot based on public perception and assessment, and formulate a design of recommendations for pedestrian facilities in the area. The research method includes a quantitative and qualitative approach with primary and secondary surveys to obtain data on geometric conditions, traffic volume, pedestrian volume, vehicle speed, and user perception through a questionnaire of 100 respondents. This study uses the Technical Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities issued by the Ministry of PUPR in determining the minimum width of the pedestrian path where the minimum width is 1.5 meters with existing conditions that have been met. In determining the need for crossing facilities, it is calculated PV2 with a result of 1.06 x so that the required crossing is JPO.1011 Variabelresearch by the community was used to assess the level of walkability along Jalan Bandung, the result of the score obtained was 52.25 with a classification of QUITE GOOD. Therefore, it is necessary to plan pedestrian facilities to increase the level of walkability in the area. The design results are expected to support sustainable mobility and provide input for the management of transportation infrastructure in the Malang City education area.
