Abstract
Infrastruktur jalan memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung kelancaran mobilitas masyarakat dan distribusi barang. Namun, tingginya intensitas lalu lintas, terutama dari kendaraan berat seperti truk dan angkutan barang, sering kali mempercepat kerusakan jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kerusakan jalan di Ruas Jalan Raden Panji Suroso, Kota Malang, sebagai salah satu bentuk mitigasi kecelakaan lalu lintas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Surface Distress Index (SDI) dan Metode Bina Marga. Melalui inspeksi visual, inventarisasi kondisi jalan, survei lalu lintas, serta wawancara masyarakat, diperoleh data yang menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar kerusakan jalan berupa retak, alur, tambalan, sungkur, pengelupasan dan pelepasan butir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 20% dari Panjang jalan membutuhkan perbaikan berkala dan 80% membutuhkan pemeliharaan rutin. Sementara itu, dari analisis SDI diperoleh bahwa 60% kondisi jalan termasuk kategori baik, 27% rusak berat, dan 13% rusak ringan hingga sedang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan visualisasi, direkomendasikan beberapa penanganan seperti perbaikan perkerasan jalan, pengecatan ulang marka, penyediaan trotoar, pita penggaduh, serta rambu peringatan simpang tiga. Rangkaian rekomendasi tersebut diperkirakan mampu mengurangi potensi kecelakaan hingga 30% sesuai pedoman rekayasa keselamatan jalan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar pertimbangan teknis bagi pemerintah dalam merencanakan pemeliharaan dan peningkatan keselamatan jalan secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Road infrastructure plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth mobility of the community and the distribution of goods. However, the high intensity of traffic, especially from heavy vehicle such as trucks and freight transport, often accelerates road damage. This research aims to evaluate the level of road damage on the Raden Panji Suroso road segment in Malang City as a from off traffic accident mitigation. The methods used in this study are the Surface Distress Index (SDI) Method and the Bina Marga Method. Trough visual inspections, inventory of road conditions, traffic surveys, and community interviews, data were obtained indicating that the majority of road damage consist of cracks, grooves, patches, depressions, peeling, and loss of aggregate. The analysis result show that 20% of the road length requires periodic repair and 80% requires routine maintenance. Meanwhile. From the SDI analysist, it was found that 60% of the road conditions are classified as good, 27% severely damaged, and 13% lightly to moderately damaged. Based on the analysis and visualization result, several actions are recommended such as road pavement repairs, repainting markings, provoding sidewalks, rumble strips, and warning signs at intersection. This series of recommendations is estimated to reduce the potential for accidents by up to 30% according to road safety engineering guidelines. This research is expected to serve as a technical consideration for the government in planning road maintenance and improving road safety effectively and sustainably.
