Abstract

Angkutan barang merupakan perpindahan atau pergerakan barang dari suatu tempat (asal) ke tempat lainnya (tujuan) dengan menggunakan kendaraan di ruang lalu lintas atau jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan rute angkutan barang yang optimal di Kota Mojokerto dengan mempertimbangkan biaya perjalanan dan waktu tempuh, guna mendukung efisiensi distribusi barang dan menjaga kestabilan harga barang di wilayah kajian. Penelitian menggunakan metode Algoritma Dijkstra untuk mencari rute dengan jarak terpendek dan metode PKJI 2023 untuk menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan yang dilalui. Visualisasi rute dilakukan dengan perangkat lunak QGIS.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei primer berupa volume lalu lintas, geometri jalan, dan wawancara dengan perusahaan angkutan barang, serta data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Penelitian ini mengkaji empat perusahaan di Mojokerto, yaitu PT. Lion Superindo, PT. Inti Dragon Suryatama, PT. Kepuh Kencana Arum Gunung Gedangan, dan Mega Baja. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan rute eksisting dan rute hasil perencanaan dengan menghitung matriks jarak, biaya perjalanan, dan waktu tempuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rute rencana yang dihasilkan dengan metode Algoritma Dijkstra dapat menghemat biaya perjalanan dibandingkan rute eksisting perusahaan, sehingga rute tersebut menjadi rute yang direkomendasikan berdasarkan biaya dan waktu tempuh.

Uncontrolled Keywords: Freight transportation is the movement or movement of goods from one place (origin) to another place (destination) by using a vehicle in a traffic space or road. This study aims to plan an optimal freight transportation route in Mojokerto City by considering travel costs and travel time, in order to support the efficiency of goods distribution and maintain the stability of goods prices in the study area. The study used the Dijkstra Algorithm method to find the route with the shortest distance and the PKJI 2023 method to analyze the performance of the road sections passed. Route visualization is done with QGIS software. Data collection was carried out through primary surveys in the form of traffic volume, road geometry, and interviews with freight transportation companies, as well as secondary data from related agencies. This study examines four companies in Mojokerto, namely PT. Lion Superindo, PT. Inti Dragon Suryatama, PT. Kepuh Kencana Arum, Mount Gedangan, and Mega Baja. The analysis was carried out by comparing existing routes and planned routes by calculating the distance matrix, travel costs, and travel time. The results of the study show that the planned route produced by the Dijkstra Algorithm method can save travel costs compared to the company's existing routes, so that the route becomes the recommended route based on cost and travel time.
