Abstract
In the consumer goods industry, CV. Sejati Pati is a distributor that focuses on
product distribution for modern and traditional stores. Modern stores consist of
national and local supermarkets, while traditional stores consist of retail and
wholesale stores. This research aims to redesign the CV warehouse layout. Sejati
Pati using the shared storage method. This method improves space efficiency by
organizing products based on stock rotation and access demand, but does not
require more storage space. In this way, product picking becomes easier, delivery
times are shortened, and productivity increases. Over a 2 month period, namely
January to February 2024, observations were made using product supply and
demand data as well as warehouse dimensions and layout. The analysis results
show that the travel distance from 9,828.8 m in the current layout drops
significantly to 3,883.8 m in the proposed layout, which saves 5,945 m of travel or
cuts 60% of the distance from the initial conditions. The proposed layout also
successfully optimizes blocks and storage slots. It is hoped that this shared storage
layout will increase the effectiveness of warehouse activities.

Selama periode 2 bulan, dari Januari hingga Februari 2024, observasi dilakukan dengan data persediaan dan permintaan produk serta dimensi dan layout gudang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jarak tempuh dari 9.828,8 m pada tata letak saat ini turun signifikan menjadi 3.883,8 m pada tata letak yang diusulkan, yang menghemat 5.945 m perjalanan atau memangkas sebanyak 60% jarak dari kondisi awal. Tata letak usulan juga berhasil mengoptimalkan blok dan slot penyimpanan. Diharapkan bahwa layout penyimpanan berbagi ini akan meningkatkan efektivitas kegiatan gudang.
