PENENTUAN PENATAAN DAN PENYIMPANAN BARANG PADA PERUSAHAAN DI PT KERETA API LOGISTIK CABANG BANDUNG

T Kereta Api Logistik Bandung Branch is used for the delivery and receipt of goods and at the same time is a temporary warehouse for storing goods. Even though the storage place is only temporary, Kalog Bandung must ensure that customer goods must remain good and there is no damage, let alone lost, This research focuses on determining an efficient warehouse layout. The problem that occurs in Kalog Bandung is the arrangement that is not efficient and untidy, so that it makes the goods messy and customers complain due to the damage to the goods and in taking the goods for a long time. The method used in this study is the ABC Classification Method, from the initial mileage of 75,366 m and the proposed mileage condition of 43,721 m with a difference of 31,645 m, it can be concluded that by using the ABC classification method applied is able to reduce a large distance traveled during the activities that take place so as to increase efficient work
