Abstract

The Motor Vehicle Weighing Implementation Unit as known as UPPKB is a land transportation infrastructure that functions to measure motorized vehicles and their loads. UPPKB Watudodol is a service unit under the auspices of BPTD Class II East Java Directorate General of Land Transportation with an area of 4,859 m2. The main problem at UPPKB Watudodol Banyuwangi is that there is still a lack of facilities that are not in accordance with applicable regulations, namely the absence of warehouse facilities. This research aims to provide a solution to a problem that exists at UPPKB Watudodol related to determining the location of the warehouse. The method used in this research with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method developed to describe the problem, namely as a method of decision making regarding the selection of potential warehouse locations. The results of this study are the proposed warehouse construction layout at UPPKB Watudodol Banyuwangi, there are 3 proposed warehouse construction locations including proposal 1 in the backyard, proposal 2 on the right side of the dormitory and proposal 3 at the back of the dormitory.

Permasalahan utama Pada UPPKB Watudodol Banyuwangi masih terdapat kekurangan fasilitas yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku yaitu tidak adanya fasilitas gudang. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan sebuah solusi pada suatu masalah yang ada di UPPKB Watudodol terkait dengan penentuan lokasi gudang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) merupakan suatu metode yang dikembangkan untuk menguraikan permasalahan yaitu sebagai metode dalam pengambilan keputusan mengenai pemilihan lokasi gudang yang potensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu usulan layout pembangunan gudang pada UPPKB Watudodol Banyuwangi terdapat 3 usulan lokasi pembangunan gudang di antaranya usulan 1 yaitu pada halaman belakang, usulan 2 pada sisi kanan asrama dan usulan 3 pada belakang asrama.
