PERANAN FREIGHT FORWARDING PADA KEGIATAN EKSPOR STUDI KASUS : PT. FAJAR INSAN NUSANTARA DENPASAR

Freight Forwarding is a company that carries out logistics activities for the management of shipping documents. Bali Province is one of the destinations for foreign tourists to vacation or do business. The high demand for exports in Bali has led to the presence of many logistics companies or freight forwarders. The purpose of this research is to understand the strategy and role of freight forwarding companies in export activities, a case study of PT. Fajar Insan Nusantara Denpasar.This research was conducted using observation, documentation interviews, and the SWOT method with qualitative descriptive analysis to identify obstacles in export activities. The research found cases of export cancellations, human resources factors, and policy changes. Therefore, strategies are needed to utilize the role of the company as a freight forwarder. The results of the SWOT analysis, show that as a developing and consistent company, as well as an export airline agent, freight forwarding companies need to maximize their performance in the future.
