PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI LOGISTIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) DI JABODETABEK

This research aims to design an Integrated Logistics Information System based on a website using Geographical Information System (GIS) methods in the Jabodetabek area. Jabodetabek is one of the most densely populated metropolitan areas in Indonesia. In this study, the authors identify and map strategic locations such as logistics hubs, warehouses, main markets, industrial areas, and shopping/wholesale centers in Jabodetabek using QGIS application. The research methodology involves the collection of primary data through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as secondary data from previous research and national road and toll network data. Data collection techniques include direct observation and interviews at the Badan Pengelola Transportasi Jabodetabek (BPTJ). The obtained data is then analyzed and mapped using MyMaps and QGIS applications. The developed Logistics Information System prototype includes WebGIS features published through hosting platforms such as Github and Netlify, as well as a website layout based on Wordpress hosted locally using XAMPP Control Panel.
