ANALISIS BEBAN KERJA TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN DAN KINERJA PENGUJI KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DI UPT PENGELOLAAN PRASARANA PERHUBUNGAN KOTA MALANG

Human resources are one of the important factors to achieve the goals owned by an
organization. UPT Malang City Transportation Infrastructure Management is a
technical implementation unit in the field of motor vehicle testing under the
supervision of the Malang City Transportation Office. The total number of testers
contained in the UPT Management of Transportation Infrastructure in Malang City
to carry out the motor vehicle testing proces s in Malang City is 12 people. The main
purpose of this study is to determine the ideal number of testers in accordance with
competence and determine the effect of workload on tester performance. The
method used in calculating the ideal number of examiners refers to the Regulation
of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number
1 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Position Analysis and Workload Analysis and
to determine the effect of workload on examiner performance, namely usin g a
simple regression test analysis method. The results of the study found that the ideal
number of testers in the UPT Management of Transportation Infrastructure in
Malang City was 16 people, consisting of 2 assistant examiners, 2 novice
examiners, 9 seco nd level examiners, 1 third level examiner, 1 fourth level
examiner and 1 fifth level examiner and there was a shortage of 4 examiners from
the current total. From this study, it is also known that the workload has a significant
