EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN TOL LAUT TRAYEK T-11 TERHADAP DISPARITAS HARGA BARANG KEBUTUHAN POKOK DAN BARANG PENTING

Price disparity in Indonesia is a crucial issue that impacts the welfare of the community, especially in remote, frontier and outermost (3TP) areas. These price differences are caused by various factors such as high logistics costs, and inadequate infrastructure in some parts of Indonesia. The Sea Toll Program, launched by the government, aims to reduce price disparities by improving logistics connectivity between Indonesia's islands. Through more regular and affordable transportation of goods, it is expected that the prices of basic and essential goods will be more evenly distributed throughout Indonesia. This study examines the effectiveness of using the T-11 sea toll route with the Tanjung Perak Port - Saumlaki Port - Dobo Port route on price disparities for basic necessities and essential goods in the 3TP areas. Through simple regression analysis, it was found that the use of the T-11 route sea toll ship is effective in reducing price disparities and with a coefficient of determination of 65%, it states that the use of the T-11 route sea toll has strong effectiveness. However, there are constraints of inadequate port infrastructure and high logistics costs. The results of this study indicate the importance of improving port infrastructure and the frequency of sea toll vessels to effectively reduce price disparities. This research is expected to contribute to the development of better sea transportation policies in Indonesia.
