Abstract

Identification of occupational safety and health is needed to reduce
accidents in the workplace. It is with this problem that the purpose of this research
is to analyze how the implementation of occupational safety and health at PT. KAI,
especially the freight transportation section.
This research have a purpose is for find out the implementation of the safety
and health management system in the rail freight terminal. The analysis technique
carried out in this study was a percentage descriptive analysis with a total of 50
respondents for quantitative data while the supporting data was obtained from
interviews with 3 people who were experts in the field.
The results of the study found that the K3 planning system at PT. Kereta Api
Indonesia has fulfilled with a total score of 80% in its work planning. Meanwhile
for the K3 implementation section in the field, the results obtained were 81% which
can be assumed that the K3 implementation in PT. KAI is good. Followed by an
evaluation of work in the field which has a score of 81% so that it can be stated that
the evaluation of the safety and health system at the Semarang SMT terminal is
good.

Uncontrolled Keywords: Identifikasi akan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) diperlukan untuk mengurangi kecelakaan di tempat kerja. Dengan masalah itulah Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana implementasi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) di PT. Kereta Api Indonesia, terutama bagian angkutan barang. Penelitian ditujukan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan di dalam terminal angkutan barang kereta. Adapun Teknik analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan analisis deskriptif persentase dengan jumlah responden sejumlah 50 orang untuk data kuantitatif sementara untuk data pendukungnya didapatkan dari wawancara kepada 3 orang yang sudah ahli di lapangan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sistem perencanaan K3 yang ada di PT. Kereta Api Indonesia sudah memenuhi kata baik dengan total skor sejumlah 80% dalam perencanaan kerjanya. Sementara untuk bagian penerapan K3 yang ada di lapangan, didapatkan hasil sejumlah 81% yang dapat di asumsikan bahwa penerapan K3 yang ada di PT. Kereta Api Indonesia sudah baik. Disusul dengan evaluasi kerja yang ada di lapangan yang memiliki skor 81% sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa evaluasi sistem keselamatan dan kesehatan yang ada di terminal SMT Semarang sudah baik.
