IDENTIFIKASI PROSES ARUS BARANG PADA PERMASALAHAN BANJIR ROB DI PELABUHAN TANJUNG EMAS SEMARANG TAHUN 2023

Semarang City is the lifeblood of the economy for the movement of goods flow and
is the ca pital of Central Java Province. Even though it is one of the big cities in
Java, Semarang City is still often affected by problems related to tidal floods. Tidal
floods often occur in the northern coastal area of Semarang city, especially in
Tanjung Emas Port Semarang. This tidal flood often occurs at several busy points
of port activities such as in front of the gate of the container terminal located on
Coaster road and in front of the Tanjung Emas Port Authority Semarang Class I
Port Authority Port Office area, of course, this can have an impact on surrounding
activities such as the process of loading and unloading activities and several
vehicles such as goods transport vehicles that pass through the port area. The
purpose of this research is to determine the process of goods flow against tidal
flood problems found in Tanjung Emas Port Semarang and obtain solutions or ways
of handling tidal flood problems to ensure the process of goods flow at Tanjung
Emas Port Semarang. This study used qualitative descriptive method with
observational data, interviews, and supported by some documentation. The results
of the study explained that tidal flooding is one of the problems with the flow of
goods in the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang and suggestions were obtained in the
form of coordinating between the port business and the government and
implementing the Port Master Plan that had been made.
