PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN PERSEDIAAN PADA PERSEDIAAN ALAT TULIS KANTOR (ATK): STUDI KASUS PADA DINAS PERHUBUNGAN KABUPATEN MALANG

One of the factors supporting the smooth operation of a company or government
agency is the use of office stationery. In government agencies, office stationery has
a role as a supporting tool in carrying out routine daily tasks. Therefore, it is
necessary to implement inventory management. This study aims to determine the
priority items for the procurement of office stationery items at the Department of
Transportation in Malang Regency and determine the forecasting results for the
following month from the priority items. This research is a quantitative study using
the ABC Analysis method and the Demand Forecasting Method. The results showed
that with the ABC analysis method, 7 types of goods were included as priority goods
(class A), 8 types of goods were included in class B, and 19 types of goods were
included in class C. Forecasting with the Single Moving Average and Exponential
Smoothing methods on class A goods shows that the best method is the Single
Moving Average method with n = 2, the Single Moving Average Method with n =
4, and the Exponential Smoothing Method with a = 0.05. The determination of the
best method is based on calculations of MAD, MSE, MAPE, and tracking error.
