Abstract
UPT Transportation Infrastructure Management Malang City is the
implementer of motor vehicle testing in Malang City, the risk of danger is an
integral part of the implementation of vehicle inspection so that the best way is
needed to anticipate and control risks. Based on observations, several potential
occupational hazards were obtained, one of which was due to the lack of awareness
of examiners regarding occupational safety and health (K3). This study aims to
identify hazards to anticipate work accidents.
This study uses Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP) to analyze potential
hazards in the implementation of periodic testing of motor vehicles at UPT
Transportation Infrastructure Management Malang City. After hazard
identification, 33 hazard findings were found in the implementation of periodic
testing of motor vehicles, from the results of risk assessment as many as 61% of
hazard findings had high risk and as many as 39% of hazard findings had medium
risk. Of the 33 hazard findings, they can be classified into 5 sources of hazard,
namely work attitude, work environment, motor vehicle, workplace, slippery floor.
Control recommendations that researchers can provide are conducting
socialization, training, coaching, and supervision in the application of occupational
safety and health, especially in the use of personal protective equipment while
working, carry out safety briefing to remind vehicle inspector of occupational safety
and health, add fans and exhaust fans to the test building, provide auxiliary
markings for the test lane to make it easier for drivers to position the vehicle, apply
the 5 R's which are concise, neat, clean, maintain, diligent to create a workplace
with better workplace quality.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP) untuk menganalisis potensi bahaya pada pelaksanaan pengujian berkala kendaraan bermotor di UPT Pengelolaan Prasarana Perhubungan Kota Malang, setelah dilakukan identifikasi bahaya ditemukan sebanyak 33 temuan bahaya yang ada di pelaksanaan pengujian berkala kendaraan bermotor, dari hasil penilaian risiko sebanyak 61% temuan bahaya memiliki risiko tinggi dan sebanyak 39% temuan bahaya memiliki risiko sedang, dari 33 temuan bahaya dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi 5 sumber bahaya yaitu sikap kerja, lingkungan kerja, kendaraan bermotor, tempat kerja, lantai licin. Rekomendasi pengendalian yang dapat peneliti berikan yaitu melakukan pembinaan dan pengawasan dalam penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terutapa pada penggunaan alat pelindung diri saat bekerja, melaksanakan safety briefing untuk mengingatkan penguji akan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, menambahkan kipas dan exhaust fan pada gedung uji, memberikan marka bantu bagi di lajur uji untuk memudahkan pengemudi memposisikan kendaraan, menerapkan 5 R yaitu ringkas, rapi, resik, rawat, rajin untuk menciptakan tempat kerja yang kualitas tempat kerja semakin baik.
