Abstract

The use and understanding of the language or the names of the components on
the vehicle is very vital, because if there is a misunderstanding due to driver confusion
during the inspection vehicle process it will have an impact on the duration of the test
service time specified in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the Seksi
Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Boyolali. So this study
aims to determine the diversity of mentions of components in motorized vehicle
systems, standardize mentions of motorized vehicle system components, find out the
difference in motor vehicle testing service time before and after the application of
standardized vehicle component technical language and socialize to vehicle owners
about the names of components on vehicles in accordance with automotive rules and
automotive industry standards that apply to Seksi Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor
Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Boyolali.
The method used in this study is an experiment by carrying out direct calculations
of technical inspection time with and without the application of standardized technical
language. The method of analysis used is by drawing conclusions from the results of
calculating the time or data obtained. The results of this study prove that the technical
inspection testing process by applying the technical language standardization method
results in a faster testing time of 4.53 minutes with a comparison of the implementation
time on the SOP which is 4 minutes, while for the longest time without the application
of the standardization method that is equal to 5, 32 minutes.

Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberagaman penyebutan komponen pada sistem kendaraan bermotor, menstandarisasi penyebutan pada komponen sistem kendaraan bermotor, mengetahui selisih waktu pelayanan pengujian kendaraan bermotor sebelum dan sesudah pengaplikasian standarisasi bahasa teknik komponen kendaraan dan mensosialisasikan kepada pemilik kendaraan tentang nama komponen pada kendaraan sesuai dengan aturan serta standar industri otomotif yang berlaku Pada Seksi PKB DISHUB Kabupaten Boyolali. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan melakukan perhitungan langsung terhadap waktu pemeriksaan teknis dengan dan tanpa penerapan standarisasi bahasa teknik. Cara analisis yang digunakan yaitu dengan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap hasil perhitungan waktu atau data yang didapatkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa proses pengujian pemeriksaan teknis dengan menerapkan metode standarisasi bahasa teknik menghasilkan waktu pengujian yang lebih cepat sebesar 4,53 menit dengan perbandingan waktu pelaksanaan pada SOP yaitu sebesar 4 menit, sedangkan untuk waktu terlama tanpa penerapan metode standarisasi yaitu sebesar 5,32 menit.
