PENYUSUNAN STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD) BERDASARKAN RISIKO KERJA PADA SEKSI PENGUJIAN KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DINAS PERHUBUNGAN KABUPATEN BOYOLALI

The Motorized Vehicle Testing Section of the Boyolali Regency Transportation
Service is a work unit that cannot be separated from the obligation to implement and
fulfill occupational safety and health aspects. At present, there is no standard operating
procedure for the use of personal protective equipment that covers parts of
occupational safety and health for motorized vehicle examiners, so it is found that
motorized vehicle examiners do not use complete personal protective equipment while
on duty, which of course has an impact on the risk of hazards in the work process. The
purpose of this study was to determine the threats from the identification of dangers
that exist at each stage in the process of testing motorized vehicles as well as to carry
out risk control efforts in the form of preparing standard operating procedures for the
use of personal protective equipment for motorized vehicle testers.
Data was collected using observation, documentation, and interviews with the
selected sample. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The study
results show that there are different hazards and risks at each stage in the periodic
testing process, which originate from the vehicle and the work environment. Based on
the risks found at each step in the periodic testing process, a standard operating
procedure for using personal protective equipment is developed as a risk control effort.
