Abstract

Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) is a hydraulic valve used in automotive braking systems to regulate the rear brake pressure based on the vehicle's load. At UPTD PKB Kabupaten Sragen, the braking capability testing is conducted using the same Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for both vehicles with and without LSPV brake systems. Therefore, it is necessary to have an SOP that ensures the quality of testing, particularly for vehicles equipped with LSPV brake systems, and provides guidelines for the testing procedures.
The research method used is experimental-based, where a test of loading capacity from 0 kg to 100 kg is conducted. The testing is performed on axle 1 and axle 2. Data is collected through 5 repetitions for each variation of loading capacity. Based on the data obtained, the appropriate standard load used to achieve optimal braking capability in the LSPV brake system is 63 kg. At this loading capacity, the braking capability reaches its highest value, and the valve in the LSPV brake system is fully open, and these results will be included in the SOP for testing the LSPV brake system.

Uncontrolled Keywords: LSPV adalah katup hidrolik yang digunakan dalam sistem pengereman otomotif untuk mengatur tekanan rem belakang berdasarkan beban yang dibawa oleh kendaraan. Di UPTD PKB Kabupaten Sragen pengujian kemampuan pengereman menggunakan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang sama dengan yang tidak menggunakan sistem rem LSPV. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya SOP untuk menjamin kualitas pengujian khususnya pada kendaraan berteknologi sistem rem LSPV dan memberikan panduan langkah langkah pengujian kepada penguji. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah berbasis eksperimental, dimana dilakukan uji coba penggunaan beban muatan dari 0 kg hingga 100 kg. Pengujian dilakukan pada sumbu 1 dan sumbu 2. Pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali pengulangan pada masing masing variasi beban muatan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, standar beban yang tepat digunakan untuk mencapai kemampuan rem optimal pada kendaraan sistem rem LSPV adalah 63 kg. Pada beban muatan tersebut kemampuan pengereman mencapai nilai tertinggi dan katup pada sistem rem LSPV terbuka maksimal, hasil tersebut akan termuat dalam SOP pengujian sistem rem LSPV.
