Abstract
Public transportation is vehicle that serves the needs of community by using public
transportation in area. This research was conducted in Surakarta City which has 12
existing corridors in urban transportation. The service coverage of 12 existing
corridors in Surakarta City is currently 56%. Where corridor 7 is 3.15 km2 which is
2nd lowest service coverage and 9 is 4.85 km2 with the 7th lowest service coverage.
Whereas the routes traversed by corridor 7 and 9 have fairly high passenger
potential, especially during the morning and afternoon peak hour because they have
land use in the form of settlements with a high population distribution in the
northern region and pass through the city center with trade and service land use. In
addition, based the results the analysis of operational performance of transportation
in Corridor 7 and 9 has not met the standards where the load factor is only 31% and
25% below the World Bank standard and Director General Decree No. 687 of 2002
which is 70% and a frequency of 11 vehicles/hour and 10 vehicles/hour below the
World Bank minimum standard of 12 vehicles/hour. This shows that public interest
in public transportation in corridor 7 and 9 is low. Whereas seen from the placement
and type existing bus stops located in corridor 7 and 9 based land use when
compared to standard Decree of Director General of Land Transportation No. 271
of 1996 is appropriate, namely the distance between bus stops 400 meters and the
type bus stop.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Transportasi umum merupakan kendaraan yang melayani kebutuhan masyarakat dengan menggunakan angkutan umum pada suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Surakarta yang memiliki 12 koridor eksisting pada angkutan perkotaannya. Cakupan pelayanan dari 12 koridor eksisting di Kota Surakarta saat ini yaitu sebesar 56%. Dimana koridor 7 sebesar 3,15 km2 yang merupakan cakupan pelayanan terendah ke-2 dan koridor 9 sebesar 4,85 km2 dengan cakupan pelayanan terendah ke-7. Padahal rute yang dilalui oleh koridor 7 dan koridor 9 memiliki potensi penumpang yang cukup tinggi terutama saat jam sibuk pagi maupun jam sibuk sore dikarenakan melewati tata guna lahan berupa permukiman dengan persebaran penduduk yang tinggi di wilayah utara dan melewati pusat kota dengan tata guna lahan perdagangan dan jasa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kinerja operasional angkutan pada Koridor 7 dan Koridor 9 belum memenuhi standar dimana load factor hanya sebesar 31% dan 25% dibawah standar World Bank dan SK Dirjen No. 687 Tahun 2002 yaitu 70% serta frekuensi sebesar 11 kend/jam dan 10 kend/jam dibawah standar minimal World Bank yaitu 12 kend/jam. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa minat masyarakat terhadap angkutan umum di koridor 7 dan koridor 9 rendah. Dilihat dari penempatan dan tipe halte eksisting yang berada pada koridor 7 dan koridor 9 berdasarkan tata guna lahan bila dibandingkan dengan standar SK Dirjen Perhubungan Darat No. 271 Tahun 1996 sudah sesuai yaitu jarak antar halte 400 meter dan tipe halte mayoritas berupa bus stop.
