Abstract
Traffic congestion is one of the problems that greatly affects the service performance of a road. The effect of signal geometry and configuration on performance improvement at the Intersection can be influenced by an arrangement of Phase Sequence Signaling Devices (APILL), where the performance of traffic conditions and traffic at an intersection as well as improper settings will result in conflict points that have the potential to cause accidents. . One of the signalized intersections that needs to improve its performance in Surakarta City is the Tugu Wisnu Intersection.
The Tugu Wisnu Intersection has a 2023 PKJI queue length, an average DS value of 2.27, the longest queue length of 427.03 m, and an average delay of 232.4473 sec/pcu. The DS value has exceeded 0.85, meaning it needs to improve performance. This study aims to improve the performance of intersections using the PKJI 2023 and PTV Vissim methods. To test the validation used in the vissim simulation, namely driving behavior with traffic volume parameters tested using the GEH test. The planning results compared to the existing conditions obtained DS 0.84 with a cycle time of 213 seconds, queues were reduced by 50%, delays were reduced by 40% and tail queue remnants were reduced at the monument in the middle of the intersection.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Kemacetan lalu-lintas menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang sangat mempengaruhi kinerja pelayanan suatu jalan. Pengaruh geometri dan konfigurasi sinyal terhadap peningkatan kinerja pada Simpang dapat di pengaruhi oleh Suatu pengaturan urutan Fase Alat Pemberi Isyarat Lalu Lintas (APILL), dimana kinerja serta kondisi lalu lintas pada suatu persimpangan dan juga pengaturan yang tidak tepat akan mengakibatkan titik konflik yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan. Salah satu simpang bersinyal yang perlu di tingkatkan kinerjanya di Kota Surakarta adalah Simpang Tugu Wisnu. Simpang Tugu Wisnu memiliki panjang antrian PKJI 2023 didapat nilai rata-rata DS 2,27, Panjang Antrian terpanjang sebesar 427,03 m, serta tundaan rata-rata 232,4473 det/smp. Nilai DS telah melebihi angka 0,85 artinya perlu dilakukan peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja simpang dengan menggunakan metode PKJI 2023 dan PTV Vissim. Untuk menguji Validasi yang digunakan dalam simulasi vissim yakni driving behavior dengan parameter volume lalu lintas yang diuji menggunakan uji GEH. Hasil perencanaan dibandingkan kondisi eksisting diperoleh DS 0,84 dengan waktu siklus 213 detik, antrian berkurang 50%, tundaan berkurang 40% dan berkurang nya sisa-sisa ekor antrian pada tugu yang ada di tengah simpang.
