Abstract

On the Adi Sucipto Road Section, there is an accident-prone point that has the highest accident rate located in front of the Surakarta DPRD. At this location, the number of accidents has increased over the past 2 years, namely in 2021 there were 8 accidents, and in 2022 there were 10 accidents so that this location has become an accident-prone point (Blackspot) on Adi Sucipto Road for the past 2 years. In addition, the Adi Sucipto Road Section in front of the Surakarta DPRD also has a triple intersection with a fairly wide median opening. The speed of drivers on this road section, especially in the afternoon, tends to be higher than the planned speed on the road, which is 60 km/h. Based on the description of the condition of Adi Sucipto Road Section in front of DPRD Surakarta above, a research is needed regarding recommendations to reduce the number of accidents caused by problems at the research location. The purpose of this research is to find out the causes that affect the high number of traffic accidents and provide recommendations for handling problems through planning the needs of safe road equipment facilities.
Recommendations to reduce the number of accidents at this location use the accident reduction factor method. This method will provide options related to handling recommendations for problems at the research location as well as provide a percentage reduction in the number of accidents in each recommendation. From the results of this study, the results of recommendations for handling the problem along with the percentage reduction in the number of accidents in the form of planning safe road equipment facilities such as planning traffic signs with a percentage reduction in the number of accidents by 30%, road markings in the form of rumble strips by 20%, and APILL warning lights by 45% to reduce the number of accidents at that location.

Uncontrolled Keywords:	Pada Ruas Jalan Adi Sucipto terdapat titik rawan kecelakaan yang mempunyai angka kecelakaan tertinggi berlokasi di Depan DPRD Surakarta. Pada lokasi ini mempunyai angka kecelakaan yang meningkat selama 2 tahun terakhir, yaitu pada tahun 2021 terjadi 8 kejadian kecelakaan, dan pada tahun 2022 terjadi 10 kejadian kecelakaan sehingga lokasi ini menjadi titik rawan kecelakaan (Blackspot) pada Jalan Adi Sucipto selama 2 tahun terakhir. Disamping itu, Ruas Jalan Adi Sucipto Depan DPRD Surakarta juga terdapat persimpangan tiga dengan bukaan median yang cukup lebar. Kondisi kecepatan pengendara pada ruas jalan ini khususnya pada sore hari cenderung lebih tinggi daripada kecepatan rencana pada jalan tersebut, yaitu 60 km/jam. Berdasarkan gambaran kondisi Ruas Jalan Adi Sucipto Depan DPRD Surakarta diatas, diperlukan suatu penelitian mengenai rekomendasi untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan yang diakibatkan karena permasalahan pada lokasi penelitian. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mengetahui penyebab yang mempengaruhi tingginya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas dan memberikan rekomendasi penanganan permasalahan melalui perencanaan kebutuhan fasilitas perlengkapan jalan berkeselamatan. Rekomendasi untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan pada lokasi ini menggunakan metode faktor reduksi kecelakaan. Metode tersebut nantinya akan memberikan pilihan terkait rekomendasi penanganan terhadap permasalahan di lokasi penelitian sekaligus memberikan persentase penurunan angka kecelakaan pada masing-masing rekomendasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil rekomendasi penanganan terhadap permasalahan beserta persentase penurunan angka kecelakaan berupa perencanaan fasilitas perlengkapan jalan berkeselamatan seperti perencanaan rambu lalu lintas dengan persentase penurunan angka kecelakaan sebesar 30%, marka jalan berupa rumble strips sebesar 20%, dan APILL warning lights sebesar 45% guna mengurangi angka kecelakaan pada lokasi tersebut.
