Abstract

Urip Sumoharjo street is one of the arterial roads in Semarang City which is a link between Semarang City and Kendal Regency where Jalan Urip Sumoharjo has asphalt pavement conditions and there are faded road markings and a lack of traffic safety equipment facilities installed on these roads. . The purpose of this research is to provide recommendations in an effort to arrange road equipment facilities as an effort to handle accident-prone locations on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, Semarang City. Based on the accident data obtained from the Semarang Big City Police, it can be seen that the blackspot point on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo is in front of the Mangkang Market to the Luhur Islamic Boarding School Foundation, with a total number of accidents over the last 5 years from 2018-2022 as many as 34 accident cases where the area is commercial areas and shopping centers that cause a lot of activity in the area. The analysis used in this study is statistical analysis of accident data, analysis of existing conditions and road equipment facilities that have been installed, spot speed analysis, analysis of stopping visibility, and analysis of pedestrian behavior. Based on this analysis, efforts or recommendations will be obtained to improve safety. on that road section.

Jalan Urip Sumoharjo merupakan daerah rawan kecelakaan di Kota Semarang dimana terdapat marka jalan yang sudah pudar serta kurangnya fasilitas perlengkapan keselamatan jalan yang dipasang pada ruas jalan tersebut. Total jumlah kecelakaan selama 5 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2018-2022 sebanyak 34 kasus kecelakaan dimana daerah tersebut merupakan daerah komersil dan pusat perbelanjaan yang menyebabkan banyaknya aktivitas pada daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan rekomendasi dalam penataan fasilitas perlengkapan jalan sebagai upaya penanganan lokasi rawan kecelakaan di Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, Kota Semarang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menghubungkan hasil analisis spot speed, analisis jarak pandang henti, dan analisis perilaku pejalan kaki. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut maka akan didapatkan upaya atupun rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pada ruas jalan tersebut.
