Abstract

Surakarta City is a city served by Batik Solo Trans and Feeder public transport that already uses the Buy The Service system so that it can provide good service to the community. In addition to Batik Solo Trans and Feeder, in August 2023 TransJateng will operate a new route to Surakarta City with a route from Wonogiri to Tirtonadi Terminal so it is necessary to prepare infrastructure to support the route of TransJateng which will integrate with Batik Solo Trans. This study aims to evaluate existing public transport stops and recommend improvements to those that do not have convenient access and safety for users.
All public transport stops are in good condition, but when viewed from the facilities that support the convenience and safety of public transport users there are some that are not yet appropriate, namely at bus stops, small portables, and permanent stops that have small portables. This is due to the characteristics of public transport which has an exit lane or exit door that has a height of 1 metre. Public transport stops that have not provided convenience and safety for users can be upgraded, namely the previous bus stop is upgraded to a small portable stop that has been adjusted in design, then the previous small portable can be upgraded to a permanent stop, and a permanent bus stop can be upgraded to a permanent bus stop.

Selain Batik Solo Trans dan Feeder, pada bulan agustus 2023 TransJateng akan mengoperasikan trayek baru yang menuju ke Kota Surakarta dengan trayek dari Wonogiri ke Terminal Tirtonadi sehingga perlu dilakukan persiapan prasarana untuk menunjang adanya trayek dari TransJateng yang nantinya akan berintegrasi dengan Batik Solo Trans. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tempat perhentian angkutan umum eksisting dan merekomendasikan peningkatan jenis tempat perhentian angkutan umum pada yang tidak memiliki akses kemudahan dan keamanan untuk pengguna. Seluruh tempat perhentian angkutan umum memiliki keadaan yang baik, namunu jika dilihat dari fasilitas yang menunjang kemudahan dan keamanan pengguna angkutan umum terdapat beberapa yang belum sesuai yaitu pada bus stop, portabel kecil, dan halte permanen yang terdapat portabel kecil. Hal tersebut dikarenakan karakteristik angkutan umum yang terdapat jalur keluar atau pintu keluar yang memiliki ketinggian 1 meter. Tempat perhentian angkutan umum yang belum memberikan kemudahan dan keamanan bagi pengguna dapat ditingkatkan jenisnya yaitu yang sebelumnya bus stop ditingkatkan ke halte portabel kecil yang sudah disesuaikan desainnya, kemudian yang sebelumnya merupakan portabel kecil dapat ditingkatkan ke halte permanen, dan halte permanen yang terdapat portabel kecil dapat ditingkatkan ke permanen dengan desain yang sudah disesuaikan.
