Abstract
According to data from the Surakarta City Police, there were a total of 27 accidents on Yos Sudarso Road in 2022, with 1 fatality and 28 minor injury victims. The causes of accidents on Yos Sudarso Road can be attributed to four factors: human factors, vehicle factors, road infrastructure factors, and environmental factors. To reduce the number of accidents on Yos Sudarso Road, interventions based on accident risk factors need to be implemented. One relevant method that provides consistent analysis of the contributing factors and recommends priority interventions is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Based on the AHP calculations, the priority intervention with a weight of 44.6% is related to human factors. This aligns with the accident chronology data from the Surakarta City Police, where human factors contributed to the highest number of accidents on Yos Sudarso Road, accounting for 11 incidents, 1 fatality, and 14 minor injuries. To reduce accidents, the selected alternative or solution is to conduct safety education and awareness campaigns among the public and promote adherence to traffic rules and regulations.

Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan metode AHP didapatkan prioritas penanganan dengan nilai bobot 44,6% pada faktor manusia. Hal ini sesuai dengan kronologi kecelakaan dari data Polres Kota Surakarta faktor manusia penyumbang kecelakaan tertinggi di Jalan Yos Sudarso dengan jumlah kecelakaan 11 kejadian serta fatalitas 1 korban meninggal dunia dan 14 korban luka ringan, untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan itu didapatkankan alternative atau solusi yang terpilih adalah penyuluhan atau sosialisasi keselamatan kepada masyarakat serta mentaati aturan lalu lintas yang ada.
