ANALISIS KAPASITAS PELAYANAN PENGUJIAN KENDARAAN BERMOTOR TERHADAP JUMLAH KENDARAAN BERMOTOR WAJIB UJI PADA UNIT PELAKSANA UJI BERKALA KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DINAS PERHUBUNGAN KABUPATEN BOGOR

Motor vehicle testing is one of the public services to realize technical safety and roadworthiness on motor vehicles. The capacity of motor vehicle testing services at the Periodic Test Implementation Unit of the Bogor Regency Transportation Office is not proportional to the number of Compulsory Test Motor Vehicles. This has resulted in a buildup of vehicle queues, because the number of motorized vehicles carrying out tests has increased every year. This study is focused on determining the growth rate of the number of Compulsory Test Motor Vehicles and the ideal capacity in existing conditions. The research method used is qualitative, with primary data collection including observation and secondary data in the form of data on the number of Compulsory Motor Vehicles and data processing in this method is using capacity calculation to determine the ideal capacity. During the implementation of observations in the field, there was a build-up of vehicle queues which resulted in services not being carried out optimally. Therefore, an analysis is needed related to the ideal capacity of the motor vehicle that carries out the test. The results of this study produce a suggestion and recommendation in overcoming the problem, namely the need for additional testing building units.
