Abstract
This research focuses on the service flow for vehicle inspection at the Seksi PKB Dishub Kabupaten Boyolali, which is hampered by the distance between the administration counter and the testing building, resulting in service times exceeding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Observations indicate that the document submission process takes 360 seconds, significantly longer than the SOP standard of 30 seconds. Additionally, vehicles undergoing retesting often disrupt the queue by entering through the testing lane's exit. The aim of this study is to develop a proposed design concept for the service flow at Seksi PKB Dishub Kabupaten Boyolali.
The method used is research and development (R&D) with an experimental approach to test differences in service time. The proposed service flow retains the same initial steps from registration to testing but differs in the process after testing is completed. In the new flow, drivers only need to park their vehicles and collect the test results at a closer location, thus reducing waiting time. The results show that the average waiting time for test results decreased from 412 seconds to 34 seconds, and the average total service time reduced from 1795.67 seconds to 1311.8 seconds. Consequently, the proposed changes in the service flow effectively optimize service time.

Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan metode eksperimen untuk menguji perbedaan waktu pelayanan. Alur pelayanan usulan memiliki langkah awal yang sama dengan alur sebelumnya, dari pendaftaran hingga pengujian, namun berbeda pada proses setelah pengujian selesai. Dalam alur baru, pengemudi hanya perlu memarkir kendaraan dan mengambil bukti lulus uji di pos yang lebih dekat, sehingga mengurangi waktu tunggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu tunggu rata-rata untuk bukti lulus uji berkurang dari 412 detik menjadi 34 detik, dan rata-rata total waktu pelayanan menurun dari 1795,67 detik menjadi 1311,8 detik.
