Abstract

Periodic testing of motor vehicles is an obligation to ensure that vehicles meet technical requirements and are roadworthy. At the UPTD PKB of Sleman Regency, maintenance and reporting of damage to motor vehicle test equipment is still done manually using paper media, which is susceptible to damage or loss. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based application that can assist in the digitization of the process of recording periodic maintenance history and reports of damage to test equipment.
This study includes several stages starting from the analysis of the condition of existing mechanical test equipment, application design, to the implementation and testing of the application at the UPTD PKB of Sleman Regency. This application is designed to facilitate the archiving of periodic maintenance and damage reports, provide a reminder system to testers, and allow direct supervision by KUPT of the implementation of maintenance and reporting of damage to test equipment.
The results of the study show that this application is effective in increasing the efficiency and accuracy of recording and archiving maintenance and reports of damage to motor vehicle test equipment. The implementation of this application is expected to ensure that the test equipment is always ready to use, support the smooth running of the testing process, and improve safety and environmental sustainability from possible pollution caused by motor vehicles.

Di UPTD PKB Kabupaten Sleman, perawatan dan pelaporan kerusakan alat uji kendaraan bermotor masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan media kertas, yang rentan terhadap kerusakan atau kehilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menerapkan aplikasi berbasis Android yang dapat membantu dalam digitalisasi proses pencatatan riwayat perawatan berkala dan laporan kerusakan alat uji. Penelitian ini mencakup beberapa tahapan mulai dari analisis kondisi peralatan uji mekanis yang ada, perancangan aplikasi, hingga implementasi dan pengujian aplikasi di UPTD PKB Kabupaten Sleman. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memudahkan pengarsipan laporan perawatan dan kerusakan secara berkala, memberikan sistem pengingat kepada penguji, serta memungkinkan pengawasan langsung oleh KUPT terhadap pelaksanaan perawatan dan pelaporan kerusakan alat uji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan serta pengarsipan perawatan dan laporan kerusakan alat uji kendaraan bermotor. Implementasi aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memastikan alat uji selalu dalam kondisi siap pakai, mendukung kelancaran proses pengujian, serta meningkatkan keselamatan dan kelestarian lingkungan dari kemungkinan pencemaran yang diakibatkan oleh kendaraan bermotor.
