Abstract
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are guidelines that contain standard operational procedures in an organization. SOPs are used to ensure that all decisions and actions, as well as the use of process facilities carried out by people in the organization, run effectively and efficiently, consistently, standardized and systematic. Based on the results of observations in the field, there were time constraints that occurred at the test building and the test results printing counter, causing queues of vehicles. To overcome this, testing SOPs must also be considered starting from roadworthy testing to the test results printing counter. The method used in this research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The sampling method uses the method propability sampling. Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula as many as 99 samples of vehicles with a JBB of 3,500 kg - 8,000 kg and a JBB above 8,000 kg for 1 month and distributing questionnaires to testers. The results obtained from time efficiency calculations show that there are service time constraints due to distance between services brake tester and headlight tester Close proximity and lack of equipment to print test results cause service time constraints. The results of distributing questionnaires to examiners as suggestions for making designs layout test equipment layout.

| Uncontrolled Keywords: | Standard Operasional Prosedur (SOP) merupakan pedoman yang memuat prosedur operasional standar dalam suatu organisasi. SOP digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh keputusan dan tindakan, serta penggunaan fasilitas proses yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang dalam organisasi, berjalan secara efektif dan efisien, konsisten, terstandar, dan sistematis. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di lapangan, terdapat kendala waktu yang terjadi di gedung uji dan loket pencetakan hasil uji sehingga menyebabkan antrian kendaraan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, SOP pengujian juga harus diperhatikan mulai dari pengujian laik jalan hingga loket pencetakan hasil uji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode propability sampling. Penentuan ukuran sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sebanyak 99 sampel kendaraan dengan JBB 3.500 kg - 8.000 kg dan JBB diatas 8.000 kg selama 1 bulan serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada penguji. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan efisiensi waktu menunjukkan adanya kendala waktu pelayanan karena jarak antar brake tester dan headlight tester yang berdekatan serta kurangnya peralatan untuk mencetak hasil uji menyebabkan kendala waktu pelayanan. Hasil dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada penguji sebagai usulan dilakukannya perancangan desain layout tata letak alat uji. Kata kunci: gedung uji, antrian, desain layout |
