Abstract

This study focuses on innovation in testing area services in improving the quality of public services in motor vehicle testing in the Motor Vehicle Periodic Testing Section of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, an online booking system is implemented to facilitate registration for periodic tests. However, it was found that this system was not optimal, which caused vehicle congestion and traffic disruption in the testing area. The purpose of this study was to optimize the online booking system and provide a proposal for a new layout design. The method used in this study was the research and development (R&D) approach. The results showed that the addition of a feature for dividing test implementation sessions on the website and recommendations for a new layout design could reduce vehicle congestion and increase the efficiency of the testing process. The effectiveness of this new system was tested and the results showed a significant increase in service quality.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan fitur pembagian sesi pelaksanaan uji pada website dan rekomendasi desain tata letak baru dapat mengurangi penumpukan kendaraan dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses pengujian.
