Abstract

The number of motorized vehicles subject to testing in Bekasi City reaches 69,186 units, but there are only 18 vehicle inspector in the Infrastructure Testing Section of the Bekasi City Transportation Agency. This is considered to cause an imbalance in workload and will have an impact on the performance of vehicle inspector. Vehicle inspector performance is influenced by various factors, including the work environment. A good work environment allows humans to work optimally, safely, and comfortably. In the Infrastructure Testing Section of the Bekasi City Transportation Agency, the performance of vehicle inspector is indicated to be less than optimal. This is due to several factors, such as multitasking during testing, adjustments to the new building, and other work environment influences.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload on vehicle inspector performance, the effect of the work environment on vehicle inspector performance and to determine the effect of workload and work environment simultaneously on the performance of vehicle inspector at the Bekasi City Transportation Agency Infrastructure Testing Section. This study uses the workload analysis method, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression test.
The results of this study are the highest workload owned by level 5 vehicle inspector. The validity test results were declared valid, the reliability test results

were declared reliable, passed the classical assumption test. The results of multiple linear regression tests, namely the constant value a states that the workload is considered unchanged, the regression coefficient value 1 states that if the workload increases by 1%, the performance will decrease by 0.322, the regression coefficient value 2 states that if the work environment increases by 1%, the performance will increase by 0.673.
This study concludes that high workload reduces vehicle inspector performance, a comfortable work environment improves vehicle inspector performance. Workload and work environment simultaneously affect the performance of vehicle inspector by 40.1%.

Lingkungan kerja yang baik memungkinkan manusia bekerja optimal, aman, dan nyaman. Pada Seksi Pengujian Prasarana Dinas Perhubungan Kota Bekasi, kinerja penguji terindikasi kurang maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor, seperti multitasking saat pengujian, penyesuaian terhadap gedung baru, dan pengaruh lingkungan kerja lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja penguji, pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja penguji serta mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja penguji kendaraan bermotor pada Seksi Pengujian Prasarana Dishub Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis beban kerja, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik serta uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah beban kerja tertinggi dimiliki penguji tingkat 5. Hasil uji validitas dinyatakan valid, hasil uji reliabilitas dinyatakan reliabel, lolos uji asumsi klasik. Hasil uji regresi linier berganda yaitu nilai konstanta a menyatakan beban kerja dianggap tidak mengalami perubahan, nilai koefisien regresi 1 menyatakan apabila beban kerja meningkat 1% maka kinerja akan mengalami penurunan 0,322, nilai koefisien regresi 2 menyatakan apabila lingkungan kerja meningkat 1% maka kinerja akan mengalami peningkatan 0,673. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa beban kerja yang tinggi menurunkan kinerja penguji, lingkungan kerja yang nyaman meningkatkan kinerja penguji. Beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja penguji sebesar 40,1%.
