ANALISIS PENATAAN FASILITAS KESELAMATAN JALAN SEBAGAI REKOMENDASI PENANGANAN DAERAH RAWAN KECELAKAAN PADA RUAS JALAN A.H NASUTION KOTA BANDUNG (STUDI KASUS: BLACKSPOT DEPAN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SUNAN GUNUNG DJATI BANDUNG)

The arrangement of road safety facilities aims to improve traffic safety, so that it can reduce the accident rate. The purpose of this study is to identify the existing condition of road safety facilities at the study site and provide recommendations for handling problems through the arrangement of road safety facilities. The length of the study area in this study is 300 meters long, 150 meters after the State Islamic University and 150 meters after the State Islamic University. This research is guided by the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. 3582/AJ.403/DRJD/2018, the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. 3236/AJ 403/DRJD/2006, the Decree of the Minister of PUPR in 2018 and the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. 43/AJ 007/DRJD/97.
The results of the research obtained are that vehicle speed, crossing behavior, and delivery behavior are still classified as unsafe, therefore it is necessary to implement a School Safe Zone in the study area, and for existing pedestrian facilities that have not been able to meet the needs of pedestrians in the study area. From the results of the analysis of the sidewalk needs in the study area, namely 1.8 meters for the northern sidewalk, and 1.6 meters for the southern sidewalk, and the required crossing facilities, namely pelican crossing with a minimum green time for pedestrians, which is 10 seconds.
